"The opportunities and knowledge I have received as an intern at KBIC have been above and beyond what I could have ever anticipated. My academics gave me a foundation in occupational therapy's theory and practice, but my experience at KBIC has given me the confidence, problem-solving, listening, and communication skills needed to be able to lead a group of people with a wide variety of cognitive and physical abilities. As a KBIC intern, I have led groups, worked one-on-one with members, facilitated a member-run craft fair, contributed to a cutting-edge research project, and more."

"The experiences of our students have been outstanding – excellent supervision, exposure to different models of practice and an integrated, cross disciplinary approach that models the importance of working cooperatively with other disciplines on behalf of participants. "
